This piano is too important to musical culture to sit always in our private music room. That is one of the reasons for this Web site. The instrument can be made available for periods up to four months to institutions such as colleges, universities, and museums for programs of instruction, research, and performance. It may also be used under special circumstances for festivals that include instruction and performance. Costs will vary according to the length of time and the extent of use proposed.

Institutions interested in applying to have the piano should contact the owner with preliminary proposals of the time periods for which they would want it and the kinds of uses to which the institution wishes to put it-concerts, workshops, performance instruction, etc.-places in which it will be used, and persons who will most likely use it. More detailed information will be needed before final decisions are made. Please note that applications from individuals or chamber ensembles wishing to tour with the piano will not be accepted.
